New World Behavior Heath Services is a licensed provider of behavioral health services. We are a CARF Accredited Rehabilitation Facility, located in Hammond, Louisiana. Services are provided in the following parishes: Tangipahoa, S. Tammy, Washington, St. Helena and Livingston.
New World Behavior Health Services is an outpatient Community Mental Health Agency dedicated to treating Children/Adolescents with behavioral and emotional disorders and adults with mental illnesses.
New World Behavior Support Center provides therapeutic in- home and community services to recipients age 6 and older, to focus on person centered goals that addresses the histories of multiple acute care hospitalizations if any, and repeated behavioral health concerns, with a family-centered approach, the services have graduated levels of intensity that are individualized and family focused.
Our teams of Trained Mental Health Professionals work with recipients by helping to build a strong family support structure and also assist in linking recipients to available resources in the community that can help facilitate recovery and wellness. We are aware of the fact that we cannot solve people’s problems; our devoted and trained staff are here to provide professional assistance to our recipients as they go through healing and recovery.
Recipients are able to work through the program by demonstrating appropriate behaviors, processing their psychological issues through therapy, and learning to deal effectively with their emotions.
